Nancy O'Dell's career in broadcasting began as a journalist and anchor for WPDE-TV Myrtle beach, South Carolina. O'Dell later became an anchor for morning news at WCBD TV and also as a crime reporter. The stories she reported in Charleston concerning the lack of leniency by police when it comes to DUI cases led to a State Law Enforcement Division to investigate.
